Bangkok trip !

Its a fulfiling trip with my boy !!

This is the 3rd time ive been to bkk (with parents) but the first time alone with my boy. Didnt shop much but we explored those nice places and good food !! The clothes doesnt really fancy me cos ive seen too many of them such that they look so saturated to me. Nothing special.

We went to Chatukchak market , pratunum night market which is just below our hotel , Sirroco for fine dining on the 6th Jan ( our 6th mth togetherness ) , plaitnum mall , MBK , Siam paragon , somboon seafood and Ocean world ! All thanks to my boy for planning the itinerary. He’s incharge of the itinerary and for me im in charge of basic neccessities like medications , toiletries etc.

Baby made the reservations at Bedsupperclub at Sukumvit and Sirroco at Dome in State Tower Hotel one wk before we leave for bkk through their website !

Day 1 :

On thursday at 8pm , my boy came to fetch me to his house so that we can leave for the airport at 4am together. Helped him pack his luggage and took a short 3 hr nap before heading to airport.

We met up with his Teammates at the budget terminal. We are flying via tiger airways.

After 2 hours of plane ride , we are at BKK thailand. A driver came to pick us up and the car ride was super scary and they are speeding at 140km/h. Finally we spotted our hotel !!! Its the tallest hotel in thailand and we couldnt missed it.

The view from our room at the 50th floor. We were disappointed when we saw the ground floor but didnt noe the lobby was at 18th floor . Nice…though its a 4 stars hotel , its definitely worth the price for the good view of the city and the services they provided. Moreover , the night market is just below our hotel which is superb conveninent. Shopping malls are opposite.

The room is huge and spacious and clean . But air con damn cold….

next up baby met up with his friends to tailor their office wears. Heard the tailoring there are dirt cheap and fast. Its custom made so it fits ur body shape. NICE !!

Being my boy’s full time fashion advisor , i chose the fabrics , material , cuttings ( giogio armani ) and colours for him. He went for the fitting and look smart !!

After that its SHOPPING time !! which im superb looking forward to. I need to shop !

Budden , dun really fancy some of the clothes though we combed thru the whole mall. its like ive seen everthing in sg and all the same. Kimonos dresses are everywhere. See until sian.

So we went to the food court for lunch !!!

This is what we ordered : Shark Fin soup and dim sum !!

Dirt cheap.

For dinner , we ordered this thai glass noodle with prawns and oyster omelette. Oysters and prawns are huge, fat , juicy and succulent. All costs less than sgd 15 in total.

We went back to the hotel revolving deck to watch the sunset ! The highway is crazily shaped !

Theres a open air revolving deck but we didnt take photo over there though.

we were super duper shag after the shopping. We didnt sleep the night before cos our flight was in the wee morning. Totally knocked out !!!

Day 2 :

We woke up super early at 8am ( thai time ) for our international breakfast buffet. Many choices of food ! Jap , american breakfast , korean , indian , chinese etc. Eat till mad and we ate more so we no need to spend too much $$ on lunch.

We changed up after breakfast and took a cab ride to CHATUKCHAK market !

Its so huge and we need a map to walk around . spent like 6 hrs there and bought some stuff. We saw cute animals there but damn poor thing , all are kept together in tiny cages . Esp the bunnies and squirrels, they cant even move around in the cages which is half the size of ur tissue boxes. They just lie there and look so sian and pitiful.

The puppies are damnnnnnnn CUTE !!! i wanna buy all of them back !

They are so fat and tiny and baby-ish. LIke babies and just only few wks old. Some are few days old and dun even noe how to walk yet. Damn poor thing lo. All are kept in this tiny enclosure together. When u just hover ur hand above them , all rush to u like lil babies. But i tink they are well kept and well fed, at least they look clean , happy, fat and running around. Not those sickly kinds. And their barks sounds like little chicks chirping

My boy is super interested n excited to see his hedgedog !

Many shi tzus pups and awww this cute lil brown puppy was just few days or a wk old.

Its learning how to walk only.

Weather was crazy at chatukchak and super hot/humid/stuffy . We bought a coconut drink ! After that we rush back and dreseds up to watch Muay Thai at Lumpinee boxing stadium !

The boxers are doing the traditional muay thai dance.

The matches was real and not staged. Violent and Scary. Blood flowing frm the cuts at the corner of the eyes, Bruises and knock outs. Seeing 12 year old kids fighting so violently and knocking each other out with bruises and cuts/blood. Its their livelihood. The winner gets the $$.

This is the main match by 2 heavy weights muay thai boxers. Super violent and scary. Knock outs and cuts and blood on the eyes and bruises. Some need wheelchair to carry them out. We actually videoed the main match. trying to load into youtube .

Its pretty interesting to watch real life muay thai matches.

Darling was superb excited and looking forward to watch Muay thai.

After the 8 matches ends , we cab down to the Bedsupperclub at Sukumvit. Baby made the reservations a wk before we left for bkk. The club was only opened to people who made reservations from 8pm till 11.30pm. After 11.30pm the club is then opened to public. So if u reserve the seats , it will be more exclusive.

We are the only Asians in the club , all are caucasians. Alot of angmohs. The concept is pretty interesting. No menus for food. but theres this surprise menu. Meaning that u order the surprise menu and all food are served together with other patrons at 9pm. We dunno whats in the menu, the food just come and u eat.

But all tastes damn good !!! They attend to ur every needs including ur allergies to food.

I was super hungry cos we didnt have lunch and only had light breakfast ! And food is only served together at 9pm with other patrons !! So baby ordered hot chocolate for me to fill my stomach a little !

There are interesting artisitc performance inbetween each course. Theres a painter who just keep painting throughout the whole course of meal , a fortune teller with tarod cards , devil and angel art perfomance  and belly dancing.

The food are served at 9pm !

The soup was damn good though it looks abit gross in green but tastes DAMN GOOD ! its water crest soup. Superb ! next up was appetizer !
Salad with thousand island dressing , beef and chips. i love the salad !

Main course as Seabass with hokkien noddles and salad.

Afterwhich we were served mango sorbet to clear our tastes buds so we can dig in the desserts !!

Chocolate brownies with vanilla ice cream and berries !

Yum yum ! my boy totally enjoys the meal . Me too !

Service at Bed Supper Club was damn good. The waiter came to talk to us and asked where were we from etc. They are very friendly. We spent like 4800 baht at bedsupper club for the 2 alcholic drinks , 4 course meals for 2 pax and 2 hot chocolate ! Its definitely worth it for all the wonderful experience

All thanks to my boy for planning everything and making reservations !!!

After Bedsupperclub , we went back to the hotel to zzzz..So tired !

Day 3 :

Our 6th Month-versary !!

We went to MBK to shop shop and look for my heels for my smart casual wear cos we are going fine dining !

Nothing much at MBK . it reminds me of mustafa center. Many many trannies ! And i realise when we went shopping at any shopping malls , darling always manage to help me clinch a good deal and discount. The sales girl just gave me like 20 baht discount but baby can ask for a 50% discount. They totally ignore me when i ask them for price and discount. But when baby asked for discount or price , they are all gushing. -_-

So girls ! infuture if u go bkk , bring a guy friend along and ask ur guy friend to help u clinch a good discount !!

We went BKK for HK food ! Cheap ! Shucks im growing fat already !

We spent 4 hrs at MBK and bought nothing. Its kinda expensive.

After that we have to rush to Sirroco at The Dome in State Tower Hotel.

My boy made the reservations at 6.30pm so we can watch the sun set together !

after watching Gordan Ramsay’s hell kitchen reality show , we manage to have a taste of tortelini.

Appetizer :

1. Mediterranean salad of tiger prawns, scallops, mussels, Australian rock lobster
on baby herb salad tossed with aged Banyuls dressing

2. Finely sliced Barberie duck breast with seared foie gras and duck confit tortelini

Main course :

1. Cepes mushroom marinated Prime beef sirloin with roast potatoes and baby root vegetables

2. Seared Australian certified Angus beef tenderloin with baby leek, hedgehog mushrooms,
dauphine potatoes and light truffle sauce

3. Wine : Cabernet Sauvignon 2003, Wolf Blass “Yellow Label”, Australia

Desserts :

1. Pistachio Creme Brulee

2. ( sorry , we forgot the name of it ! its some chocolate cake with mango sorbet ice cream ! Tastes great ! )

The jazz music was soothing and after our meal , we ordered peppermint tea and camomile tea respectively.

We chilled at the roof top bar.

Pretty and scenic view of the busy city. Theres a life band and its cool to sing at highest building in bkk.

We checked out other high floor outdoor dining at the State tower Hotel – BREEZE.

Its a really wonderful and fabulous 6th Month-versary celebration and fine dining dinner !

Day 4 :

Baby and i went to Siam Paragon on Day 4 to visit the under water world. its so cool to have a underwaterworld in a shopping mall which is bigger than vivo.

my boy is super excited to see fishes. We took like 200 over pics of the fishes but i tink i will shag out if i load all . Show u the scary ones only.

The leopard eels so scary and the shark too ! Yikes !

We took the glass bottom boat ride.

After our ocean world trip , we walked from MBK to Somboon Seafood. Popular seafood place patronised by former japanese prime minister.

We ordered :

Large curry crap.

Sambal kangkong.

Sambal squid.

Thai fish with cashew nuts.

Grilled Prawns ( Succulent ! )

Damn full !

seafood here is dirt cheap.

after the dinner. My boy and i head back to the hotel n knock out !!

Day 5:

International buffet breakfast at the 83rd floor. Our last day at BKK !

Baby and i went to Rangnam Thai massage. The best massage parlour at pratunam.

Shiok and my muscles feels so relax after the intensive travelling for past 4 days.

2 hrs of massage. Pressing , stretching and twisting. Shiok and relax.

We had late lunch at our hotel. During our stay in Thailand , we haven had tom yam goong soup !

finally we had it on the last day at our hotel.

We ordered :

Phad thai and prawn hor fun.

Tom yam goong soup.

Nice thai food !

after that the driver drove us to the airport. Flight was delayed for half an hr !

Baby and i and his friends were eating at the foodcourt at 8pm . Since we finished eating earlier , my boy and i decided to check in the transit area first while they are still having their dinner. Then after checking our passport ( the officers take their own sweet time . really damn slow ) , baby and i checked the screen and it says FINAL CALL ! we ran like mad to the plane. His friends almost missed the plane.

after 2 hrs of plane ride , we are back to this sunny island. cant wait to travel again with my boy.

arghhh 5 days of hols is not enough !!

and now .. im planning for another trip. Maybe to thailand again but probably visiting the beaches like coral island/phuket or maybe HK . We shall see the rates first and this time , im planning the itinerary.
