This is actually my first time using that camera and i can say im quite satisfied with how the pics turned out despite i left a big fat thumb print on my lens ! GRrrrrrr.. luckily its gone now. Had 2nd thoughts buying this camera at first because my mum needs her camera and she asked me go get my own instead of using her sony one haha . The sony cam produces grainy picture now..dunno y ! Have been using it for 2 years only leh…suddenly all the pics grainy ?

Iskandar intro-ed us to FIKA swedish bistro. It was only 4pm and we are so greeedy ! haha so decided to try the swedish meat balls over there.

It is along Beach Road..Near Arab street

The Swedish Meat ball is Halal and its YUMMISH ! Love the creamy sauce for the meat balls and Lingonberry Jam

Prices of the food there range from $16.90 – $22.90. Quite expensive for this plate of meat ball to cost $16.90. So we ordered one plate to share only.

The Butter Potato sprinkled with herbs and black pepper ! Yummish too !

Gorgeous Denim Tube dress.

The black dress below was inspired by Sandra Bullock’s outfit in The Proposal.

We churn it into a “workabl”e  and “club-able” cuffed 3/4 sleeve tux faux wrap dress.

Since not many girls like tight fitting dresses , we got it done with slight circle skirting.

This studded dress is fab and gorgeous esp the cutting ! i fell in love with it immediately. Thanks dear for giving the idea of this dress and the studs are really good. This dress was seen on a celeb. Will tell u who later haha.

Lately alot of girls asked what brand of lip gloss am i using ?

Im using STAGE lipgloss in Venus.

and make up used ? just put on mask the night before the shoot . On that day itself, double coat your eyeliner and some lip gloss. Its done ! Because i work in the office everyday , my face turned dry very fast and my hands too. So masking and moisturising is very important.

Anyway,

Gotta take my medicine and rest and head for the shoot for the sales post for the some basic items.

Finally after a long hunt , i found the perfect studio. Its a pretty cool and cozy place.  The guys are nice, patient and friendly and even teached us how to set up the lightings ! So now we just need 5 mins to get everything up and done. Most importantly , its near baby’s house so its pretty convenient but parking is the problem.

It’s not easy to hunt for a good studio. Some try to “ka-tok” me by telling me they charge for every single light u used and even the backdrop. Siao!. Reviewed alot of studios and viewed the photographer’s work before i settled on one. Do some research on the photographers before u settle on the studio. Its important.

I prefer the olive green . Colour is definitely more unqiue !

Time to buy get a pair of new gold flats. This one lasted me 2 years.

I think this place is a hidden gem. OK , maybe people working near the building knows of this place but i dont. A banker intro-ed us to this restaurant and on friday , 4 of us including me and my boy went to Si Chuan Dou Hua on the 60th storey of UOB building at raffles place for chinese buffet dinner. Ala carte buffet dinner with 60 over dishes and the view of city skyline.

Madness and since all 4 of us can eat alot , we ordered 35-40 dishes. There are private rooms and open area. Nice modern chinese decor and patient waitresses.

The price we paid for : $35.80 ++

If you have UOB credit card , u can get “one person” free. So the 4 of us only paid for the price of 3.

Nice view of SG river , flyer , esplanade and city skyline etc on the 60th storey where the restuarant is located at.

Who will be so patient with you to teach you how to use the studio lightings and get a photographer to teach you how to set up from scratch the first few times we were there.

Woke up early on saturday to settle some emails and then to Adidas factory outlet sales at Novena Sq with my colleagues. Our receipt was freaking longggg .  Wah they can really shop alot. My boy and i got the least no. of stuff becos we were late and by then , most of our sizes were all GONE ! Think there were too many things to key in and the cashier double counted one of the tops . Luckily we got the $$ back after that.

Hectic week to settle the post and attended a charity event organised by the bank at ZOUK on wednesday . Only have a sip of apple shot and vodka . I cant drink partly because 1 ) im not a good drinker . 2 ) i dun like to drink except for wines/champagnes over dinner 3 ) im sought of allergic to alcohol and i get rashes easily 4 ) im sick on that day. But it was a pretty cool event to mingle around with people in the industry and learn to talk to people. Left very early at 10+ yesterday. Got emails to clear and i need to sleep after taking my medication. And also to support to dealing desk team because they bought 50 movie vouchers from me ! yay ! Oh ya 7th Nov , we are having a carnival for the beneficiaries of the charity – AWWA and Club Rainbow Chronically ill kids and elderlies from old folks home at Hong lim park.

Baby bought me a wallet . He sponsored half of the cost.

Finally got a new wallet. The old wallet kanna drenched by my ” xiao wan mian ” soup cos too heavy for me to carry on the tray and my whole wallet was drenched with oily souppppp !!! Spurge of the month and gonna go for cheap and yummy hawker food for lunch everyday liao !

Got a call to inform us that new stuff arrived ! tried them and the colours are yummy and vibrant ! And also a Victoria Beckham inspired work dress tooo !! more more more ! Cant wait !!!! hoping the stocks will arrive soon so i can post them up here and show u girls what are they ! Cannot post them too early..later kanna ripped off how how how …some are self designed by us too

damn drowsy after taking the medications.

Arghhh the wkend just flew past soo freaking fast.

Snap ! its monday again. Pretty relaxed wkend w/o much emails to clear since cleared all already. which means we can get ready for next post !! going for check up this tuesday for my blood pressure and i cut down on my caffaine intake with at most 1/4 cup of coffee every morning before i head to work and opt for hot green tea to freshen up after lunch. Dunno y everytime after lunch i felt so sleep.

Anyway…my mum brought my heels to the clobber to “cut” so its more wearable for work . The pair of heels below was 4inches and my mum brought it to the clobber to “cut” for me and its now only 3 inches ! my whole calf totally cramped when i wore it at 4inches to work and the walk from office to mrt and to the overhead bridge at bishan blah blah blah was really torturous. i didnt even noe of this service provided by the clobbers until my mum told me. Its the clobber’s profession and they will advise you the max they can “cut” or shorten the heels for u such that it wont affect the front part of the heels.

So..yay !!! i can wear this pretty pair of heels to work already and can walk and run with it. Which means i can get pretty heels from gojane and not to worry about the height of the heels !

I was clearing up my room during one of the wkdays i found this silk top amongst my old school notes. I dunno how it got there ! haha the price tag was still on and its from forever21. Cleared some old stuff for salvation army. I have so many clothes but everytime , i dunno y i still cant find anything to wear.

Damn shag..And i need to get a hair cut soon…
